As a self-described night person, heading off to a 5:30 a.m. boot camp class wasn’t my idea of fun and I wasn’t sure I would continue, but here I am today, 14 pounds lighter with 6% less body fat, and wearing a smaller dress size, and I am proud to say I am here to stay because the Balanced Training Boot Camp Experience has changed my life. Not only did I lose stubborn body fat that I spent years in the gym trying to lose, I’ve increased my HDL cholesterol, decreased my triglycerides from 112 to 56, and learned a wealth of information regarding fitness, anatomy, and nutrition.
The Balanced Training Boot Camp Experience offers a balanced fitness approach full of variety that makes exercising fun. Cathy makes everyone feel warm and welcome while challenging them to work at their own personal level so everyone is set up for success right from the beginning. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about their health and fitness to just jump in because the benefits are so great.

I love boot camp! The BTBC is such a perfect fitness program for me; the time that it is offered, the variety, the diverse group that attends, all that and surrounded by unbelievable positive attitudes. I am amazed at how I can feel the progress I am making and you got me running, something I haven't done in 30 years! Each class I can see my improvement from the last class.
I have been told by my 22 year old daughter that my butt defies the laws of age and gravity, a complement like that coming from my daughter made me feel like a million bucks!

I have ran a marathon and climbed to the top of Mt.Kilimanjaro since 1995. During my training periods with several different trainers, I never received as much knowledge and positive and motivating coaching as I have had with Cathy "the Sarge" Serif. Her years of experience have given her the ability to lead a group as a unit, at the same time she is able to recognize every persons individual needs and accomodate a variety of different fitness levels all in one class. She gives personal attention when required without a disruption to the group. The continued sharing of nutritional information and proper form and technique cueing is never ending and always appreciated! The BTBC Experience has taken me to my highest level of fitness. My body fat is at its lowest and my energy level is at its highest!!!

The BTBC Experience has given me the motivation to exercise and provides me with a great cardio workout, which I normally hate in the traditional gym setting, and now I love cardio! When I enrolled for my first session last November, I took a blind leap of faith as I knew nothing about boot camp nor did I know of anyone that had attended your boot camp. I figured it was only 4 weeks of my life and if it failed to meet my needs, I would not sign up for additional sessions. I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was, and still am, with Balanced Training Boot Camp. You run a TOP NOTCH program and it has truly made a difference in my life. I had been working out for a few years prior to joining BTBC and was ready to take my fitness to a higher level. Not only has BTBC helped me to achieve that goal, but even more importantly, BTBC has inspired and motivated me to become the best I can be. I can honestly say that I have NEVER been more excited about health and fitness than I am today and I have YOU to thank for that. Boot camp has become such an important part of my life, I can't imagine life without it. Please keep doing what you are doing. Your program is a gift to all who choose it.
